Josephine Wins

I give up! I can't do it. This chart is so bad that I am not able to overcome it. I have ripped my Josephine for the last time and will not be trying again. I have decided on a different sweater jacket from Knit Simple. This one is called Miss Scarlet, but I prefer Vivian.

I have to double the yarn so I will be a little short, but in the long run I would rather order more yarn than ever look at the Josephine pattern again.

I really want to knit the Josephine when I finish my current project, but it sounds like people have serious difficulties with it. Does anyone know if an updated and corrected pattern has been posted anywhere?

I e-mailed the designer with corrections, but none have been posted. The errors are in the set up row for the back and chart C. Also, the pattern doesn't tell you that the charts show the public side of the fabric, so all symbols on even rows should be reversed.

if you see the correction on the chart C in the previous posts. You should have a problem after that.. A few woman have finished Josephine and there beautiful! I had a problem and since it was posted here with the correct pattern I haven't had a problem yet but I haven't gotten very far seem to have been sidetracked with socks for the knitting olympics which afterwards I do plan on working on my Josephine more. May want to reconsider.. Dont' give up yet! I'm not! ;o))
